CA TO 4<\/h5>\n

Geografia<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Il Comprensorio Alpino TO4 occupa il territorio delle Valli di Lanzo ( Val di Vi\u00f9, Val d’Ala e Val Grande), delle Valli Tesso e Malone e delle Valli Ceronda e Casternone.<\/span><\/p>\n

Le Tre Valli principali da Lanzo si spingono verso occidente e dopo appena 25 Km trovano a sbarrarle montagne che non scendono mai al di sotto dei tremila metri e che culminano nell’Uia di Ciamarella (3.676 m) in Val d’Ala: questo crinale, disposto in senso nord-sud, divide le Valli di Lanzo ed il Piemonte dell’Alta Maurienne, Francia.<\/p>\n

A sud le valli sono delimitate dalla catena che si origina dal Rocciamelone e che separa la Valle di Vi\u00f9 da quella di Susa (CATO3), abbracciando nel tratto terminale le Valli Ceronda e Casternone.<\/p>\n

A nord il Comprensorio \u00e8 delimitato dalla cresta che inizia dalla Levanna Orientale e che divide la Valle di Locana (CATO5) dalla Val Grande e che termina con le Valli secondarie del Tesso e del Malone.
A est il confine del Comprensorio non segue confini naturali collocandosi ai piedi della fascia pedemontana.<\/p>\n

Dimensioni territorio<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Dal punto di vista amministrativo il Comprensorio Alpino TO4 confina a nord con il CATO5, a sud con il CATO3, ad ovest con il CATO5 e con l’ATC TO2 ad est con la Francia.<\/p>\n

Presenta un’estensione complessiva di 73.800 ha (dati CSI Piemonte) interessando l’intero territorio di 14 comuni e parte del territorio di 10 comuni. Comprende la quasi totalit\u00e0 del territorio delle Valli di Lanzo e parte del territorio delle Valli Ceronda e Casternone.<\/p>\n
